It is with deep regret that we note the passing of Jane O'Malley, close friend and gallery artist since 1981. Canadian born Jane (née Harris) travelled to St Ives in Cornwall where she met her future husband, Callan born artist Tony O'Malley. Theirs was an idyllic romance and marriage, spent in St Ives and latterly Physicianstown, Co. Kilkenny that lasted until Tony's death in his ninetieth year in 2003.
Although Jane & Tony always shared a studio each had an individual style and in their own ways left their mark on Irish art.
Our thoughts are with Jane's brother Chris and her friends and relations in Ireland and abroad.
